The Beast by Zoielogic Dance Theatre

For over 20 years ZoieLogic have worked with men and boys, developing dance and supporting anyone who wants to give it a go! They host an annual live performance event, HEADFUNK, highlighting men’s mental health involving community performers to professionals, each focussing on an issue that’s dear to them.

In 2019 the company created a series of documentary style advocacy films which follow men from different age groups and life stages as they face personal issues and societal barriers, capturing the moments of real change and the positive impact that creativity, dance and expression can have on a mental health and wellbeing. The series culminated with in a 360-degree performance titled, ‘The Beast’ which was performed by their award-winning youth company, FuzzyLogic.
